1 - Entry Point:
This is where furres will appear when they first enter New Furre
Friends using the dream portal. Dream Pads for sharing your
dreams or getting help are located just to the SE. A
socializing and chat area that members often refer to as 'The
Mat', as well as the Warrior Bugges' Cave (Persona Play Area) are just
to the SW. The beginning of Old Southern Road lies near the
socializing area.
2 - Help Desk:
The NFF help desk is staffed by group members at their discretion
and may not always have someone there to help you, but when there is
someone inside the desk area, do feel free to ask for a paw on anything
related to Furcadia. Members may not always have the answers, but
they may be able to refer to you to someone who is able to help.
(Remember, you may always talk to a Beekin Volunteer anywhere in Furcadia by typing HELP and your question.)
If you need assistance but would like to talk to a member
privately, two lockable rooms are provided. Members only may
enter the inside of the desk area. We do ask that if you are just
looking to socialize, you please move off to one of the other areas
provided. (It's ok to ask someone at the desk to join you if they
are not busy with someone else.)
3 - Friendship Hall:
This is the place to go to meet other furres and socialize with
them as well as where to find some Dream Scaping and DragonSpeak
examples. (Formerly found in Dreamers' Hall before the dream
update.) Public chat areas are provided as well as six lockable
rooms where you and your friends may avoid interruption. You will
also find our Group Offices located here. Please do keep chat
appropriate for all ages as youngsters are welcome here in NFF.
We do reserve the right to eject and or ban those who do not
uphold our dream's
E8+ standard.
4 - Creator Park:
For those who may want to know more about the creators of
Furcadia and how it all started. Bumping into the statues here
will tell you a little about the four creators and how Furcadia first
started. (Rumor has it there is a statue of our group Rah in the
dream somewhere too. Perhaps it will tell you something about him
and NFF.) This is also a great place to just come relax with
friends. A small camping area is just to the NW. To the SW
is a small chat building or chapel of sorts. Some old ruins,
picnic area, and our fountain of youth lie to the NE across Old
Southern Road.
(DISCLAIMER: Drinking from the fountain does not really make you younger but may in fact make Targath feel older.)5 - Bardic Theater:
Have something to say to a group of furres? Maybe you and
some friends would like to put on a play? Bardic Theater is free
to use and enjoy for everyfurre. It's not fancy... it's not very
big... and in fact, its not even air conditioned, but it does have
stadium seating and the furre selling treats outside (we call him Hank)
doesn't charge a wing or a tail like some of those other places you may
find.
You will find there are many smaller chat areas and other
places of interest for Furres to explore inside our dream as well.
For those who would like to see the rest of Furcadia, we have
also provided portals for
most of the main maps inside our dream.
